FOR WOOCOMMERCE DIGITAL-PRODUCT SHOPS

Let customers complete the collection.

In development / private beta planned

Help returning customers buy the eligible digital products they are missing, without buying the same items again. WebDrop Upgrade is being developed for one-time digital purchases on a single WooCommerce store.

PRODUCT CONCEPT

Offer the missing pieces.

A returning customer already owns part of a collection. The planned workflow recognises eligible purchases and offers only the products still missing.

An illustrative concept, with no working Upgrade software or checkout shown.

Missing - eligible for the offer

Three steps in the planned workflow.

01 / CONFIGURE

Choose the collection.

Select eligible digital products and set the collection discount.

02 / RECOGNISE

Check eligible purchases.

Use qualifying paid store orders already linked to the signed-in customer.

03 / COMPLETE

Offer what is missing.

Show the remaining products, priced as ordinary order lines.

Free first. Paid value when it is proven.

All features below are planned. No edition is available to download or buy.

PLANNED / FREE

A complete basic workflow.

  • Collection configuration and ownership-aware quotes.
  • Manual placement using a block or shortcode.
  • Checkout integration and clear diagnostics.
  • No trial expiry or transaction quota is planned.

PLANNED / PRO

Less repeated administration.

Paid features and terms will be confirmed after testing.

  • Automatic offer placements.
  • Bulk collection setup.
  • Reporting for orders attributed to collections.

A narrow first release.

Intended scope

Simple virtual downloadable products, one store, the configured store currency and the same tax class within a collection. The planned ownership check uses qualifying paid orders linked to the signed-in customer.

Public WordPress, WooCommerce and PHP support has not yet been established. Local engineering tests do not establish compatibility for a released plugin.

Outside the initial scope

  • Subscriptions
  • Variable products
  • Physical goods
  • Third-party dynamic pricing
  • Multi-currency
  • Historic-spend credit
  • External marketplaces
  • Cross-store ownership
  • Gifting
  • Mixed tax classes within a collection

Questions before you test.

Does Upgrade replace WooCommerce?

No. It is designed to add a focused purchasing workflow to an existing shop.

Does Upgrade credit earlier spending?

No. The planned model excludes eligible owned items and prices the missing ones using current prices. It does not subtract historic spending.

What about guest purchases?

The first release is intended to check qualifying orders already linked to the signed-in account. It will not infer ownership from an entered email address.

Will Free stop working after a trial?

No time limit is planned for the free edition.

What happens when a Pro subscription expires?

The proposed policy keeps installed functionality and customer purchases working. Update and support entitlements must be settled and explained before any sale.

Will it increase revenue?

That depends on the store and its customers. We will report measured evidence rather than promise an uplift.

Help test the real store workflow.

When the beta is ready, we want to hear from WooCommerce shops selling related digital products. Applications are not open at present.

Questions for future testers

  • Which digital products do you sell?
  • How do you handle repeat purchases today?
  • Does your shop fit the intended scope above?
